Guest Speaker

Listen ... learn ... be entertained!

Dr Stuart Tasker is an experienced and accomplished speaker.

Knowledgeable entertaining and just a little bit silly!

Whilst a majority of his professional background has been in education, Stuart also has experience working in foreign exchange at the Head Office of one of New Zealand’s leading banks. The roles he has had over the years in senior leadership have seen him deal with a lot of personal relationships – as a participant, observer, mediator and moderator.

Working internationally has also meant that the expatriate staff in his employment oftentimes needed a degree of pastoral care too. Unfortunately, things can become ‘interesting’ very easily when living and working as an expatriate, especially if you are young and seeking to enjoy your life. Working in Asia for 15 years has provided Stuart with many interesting situations to deal with. Some of which are quite unbelievable!

Having run successful international schools, appointed, lead and managed many people, dealt with the myriad of issues in keeping so many stakeholders happy, Stuart has achieved a lot in his professional career. He has had the task of trying to keep thousands of private school parents happy, many of whom have had completely contrasting expectations. He has had to deal with the myriad of personal situations between children, teachers, parents and the community. Stuart has spoken, presented and been part of many workshops at many conferences, seminars and symposiums over the past 22 years. But what he is most proud of is the fact that he has created quite a few of his own Dad Jokes.

As an experienced teacher, coach, Principal and CEO, Stuart is very comfortable speaking to large groups. Furthermore, having run many meetings over the years he is also comfortable with leading and addressing smaller groups or teams.

Stuart has many interesting stories and he has quite a unique perspective on many everyday things. He can also talk about anything and sound convincing – even if he knows nothing about the topic at all!
